They completed a big renovation project on our 1930’s Queenslander - a lift, extension and full build under, plus hard landscaping, on a sloping block - and were phenomenal to work with from first contact to final touches. After meeting with a handful of project builders and feeling like we were just a number, my wife and I met Jarryd from Tide constructions on our land at Clear Mountain. His enthusiasm for the possibilities and thoughts about what we could achieve with a new house build instantly hooked us. A little over a year later we are proud owners of a new custom built modern, and beautiful home perched on top of our hill enjoying the surroundings. From design phase to construction phase, Jarryd and his team have been fully engaged and available at every milestone. The house itself was designed by Tide and we have had many comments from friends and others asking who the Architect was, when in fact it was Jarryd’s drafting team, a true testament to their design skills. Jarryd’s in-house team and all contractors used were all great people, very honest, transparent, and enthusiastic about their individual roles throughout the build. Jarryd came to us on many occasions and suggested alternatives, not because of price point or anything like that, just because the result would be complimentary to the look being achieved but never with any undue pressure. 2021 has obviously been tough on a lot of builds and I must admit I was nervous, we did have a few hiccups with material availability but Jarryd was on top of that and had solutions instantly without impacting the budget. Our Project Manager Justin Dawson was also awesome to deal with, from the many texts and phone calls I made to him or site meetings he made sure we were kept always informed. I would have no hesitation in recommending Jarryd at Tide Constructions to anyone looking to achieve their dream home, in fact, I’ve already done so to many that have asked! Very happy homeowners. Adam, Jarryd, and the rest of the team were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Building your home is a significant investment, and seeing the care and attention they provided made the decision to build with Tide a welcome and easy choice. We've been in the house for coming up to 5 months now and we can definetly notice the care and attention they have put into their work.

Tide built a large deck and pool surrounds for us recently. I was very impressed with their commitment to quality and to customer satisfaction. There are plenty of rough enough is good enough operators out there. These guys are not that. In fact the opposite of that. The quality of their work was great and I they went the extra mile for us on a few occasions. I am a very satisfied customer.

We built with Tide in 2025 and can't speak highly enough of Jarryd, Justin and the team. We ended up living on site through a major extension and the team was always respectful, communicated well, built to a high standard and even finished a month early. Fantastic experience.

We are so happy with our new home and we can’t thank Tide Constructions enough for going above and beyond our expectations to turn our knock down rebuild project into an elegant home that has set us up for our growing family. Jarryd took us on during challenging economic times but he never lost our confidence that the build would be delivered on time and within budget, which it was. The team at Tide are a bunch of great, down-to-earth people, who take so much pride in their work and their commitment to client satisfaction is exemplary. Our construction manager, Adam, built a great rapport with us during the build and pushed for a quality standard in every corner of the house as if it was his own. Adam even installed our clothesline and letterbox out of contract just to welcome us back on to our property. Amazing effort! There are so many decisions to make throughout the build process and both Jarryd and Adam were great communicators, both in providing advice when we needed it and also listening to our needs and going out of their way to get us results, no matter how small. Tide turned our house into a home We recently finished a home renovation in Bulimba with Tide Constructions. The outcome has surpassed our expectations! From the initial consultation to the final touches, the team was consistently professional, polite, and extremely supportive. They took the time to really grasp our vision and needs and patiently addressed all our concerns and questions. A big thanks to Jarryd, Adam, Justin, Hoppy and the entire crew for their outstanding work. Their communication was clear, project management was seamless, and their attention to detail was second to none. Tide kept everything on track and completed the renovation on time, which was a major relief for us as Christmas was just around the corner. The end result is nothing short of fantastic. We and our children are thrilled with the new space. The renovation has turned our house into a home that fits our family's needs perfectly. We can't speak highly enough of Tide Constructions. After a rocky start to our planned knock down re-build, we met with Jarryd (the third builder we'd spoken to) and immediately felt comfortable with his approach. From day one, Jarryd and the team helped us to navigate the design and build process with full transparency and communication along the way. Despite building through a period of high uncertainty following covid, Jarryd and the team kept to budget and the agreed timeline. There were a few hiccups with construction trades as a covid knock on effect, and we were kept in the loop at all times, and felt confident that things were being handled as efficiently as possible - with no impact to quality, timing or cost. Communication from our construction manager Adam was 100% on point, and something we really valued. He went above and beyond to make sure our expectations were far exceeded. He helped us to visualise our design choices, proactively made suggestions to improve the outcome, and patiently explored different options at our request, with the flexibility to make changes along the way. Overall, we have been really impressed by all aspects of the build, including quality trades, communication, and the overall management. Its evident that the Tide team genuinely care about the end product and we felt confident that we were in good hands the entire process. We are super happy with the result - a huge shout out to the Tide Constructions team and all their trades who helped us to create our new family home!

Ever since I learnt Graphics in high school I've wanted to design and build my own home. My dream finally came true and I'm so glad we built with Tide. Being a first time build for us, it was a big learning curve. No build (that I've heard of) is ever straight forward and easy. But it's about how the challenges are dealt with. Adam was amazing and has gone above and beyond with his team to make sure things have been done properly and to a very high quality. When there were issues, he got them sorted and he exceeded our exceptions - even 18 months after we moved in. He really cares, and he is a class above the rest. We are so happy with the final product. I highly recommend you consider Tide Constructions for your next build if you want a quality home and attention to detail. In short, I’d thoroughly recommend building with Tide. We started this journey a little over 3 years ago (first meeting was July 2021). The actual build itself took 44 weeks (including 2 weeks Christmas break). Our house was completed in mid 2024, and I am only writing this review now because I wanted to make sure I’m satisfied with their post build support, and I can 100% say that I’m very happy. The project started a bit shaky with a few delays from the designer who Tide recommended, our house demolitionist, and also a few unexpected variations even before the build started (e.g. pitch of roof, extra reinforcement in the slab). Despite the delay, once the project got underway, I was really impressed with the level of commitment and communication we received. I particularly enjoyed the on-site visits and the opportunities for us to contribute ideas during the build. I have lost count on how many times Jarrad, Adam and Justin have suggested changes to us. They didn’t have to do any of that as it was not written in the contract, but they did it because they truly believed that it would make a better build. Building a house during/post COVID was always a risk to us. We hear horror stories from other small builders as well as volume builders. We chose Tide not because they had a long building history, we chose them because of the team they have. The Tide team, as well as their sub-contractors, namely Matt the electrician, is a dream team to work with. To give you some examples, Matt called me saying that having 4 lights on the stair case would make them not look symmetrical. He asked me to get the 5th light so that they can equally spaced. Justin called me to confirm the position of the knob on the front door, etc etc. These are just some proofs that they care about the quality of their work, and not just delivering what is written on the contract. To say the build went perfect without issues would be a lie. There are minor defects identified after
